The Art Realm ’26 Biennial will take place in multiple exhibition spaces and urban areas in Tampere. The Tampere Art Museum will not be available, as the old main building will close for renovations in the summer of 2026, and the museum’s new extension is under construction.
Our partners are the Finlayson area, Finlayson Art Area, and the Tampere City’s Public Cultural Services.
Exhibition venues include spaces in the Finlayson area, address Väinö Linnan aukio 13: TR1, TR2, Vooninki and Terde, as well as Haihara Art Center (Kartano and Talli) in Kaukajärvi district.
Floor plans with measurements for all the spaces can be downloaded below.
Proposed works can be located in exhibition spaces, but also in public spaces or other accessible environments in Tampere. We also have tentatively applied for permits for certain locations in the city center of Tampere, which could serve as temporary art installation sites. The locations on the map for urban spaces are indicative and preliminary.
Proposals may also be made for other locations, but permits may prevent their realization.
Applicants may indicate their preferred exhibition venue if they wish.
